Rosangela Castellari graduated as a lawyer in 2003, same year that she started practicing Ashtanga Yoga.
She started to teach Yoga in 2006, in São Paulo – Brazil, where she taught Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga in several schools and companies.
Since 2008 Rose has traveled annually to India, spending extended periods practicing Yoga with her teachers R Sharat Jois in Mysore. She also studied with Rolf Naujokat in Goa; with Louise Ellis, in Rishikesh; with Manju Jois; and goes early to Tiruvannamalai, studying the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi (Atma-vichara or Self-inquiry).
She was introduced to the teachings of Chuck Miller in 2013, one of the most Senior Ashtanga teachers of this tradition, and since then studies with him regularly, assisting his intensive courses around the world.
Nowadays she keeps studying and deepening the approach of the practice under the guidance and influence of their teachings.
Rosangela is Authorized Teacher Level II, by KPJAYI.
Simon and Rose have dedicated their life to the study and teaching of the Ashtanga Yoga method. They have been across South America, Europe and Asia as Traveler Teachers. Teaching extended periods in Sweden-Stockholm; Netherlands-Den Haag; Poland-Warsaw; Indonesia-Bali and Jakarta; Brasil; Chile; China-Beijing. And they teach yearly a Mysore program in Japan-Osaka-shi, and India-Tiruvannamalai.
